Dates
  • Sprint starts: Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET (after kickoff)
  • Sprint ends: Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET
  • Devpost submission deadline: 4:45 PM ET, May 9, 2026 (15 minutes before demos — late submissions won't be judged)
  • Demos and judging: 5:00 – 6:00 PM ET

Eligibility

  • Open to all — in-person only. You must be physically present at the venue in NYC to participate and win.
  • Team size: 3 to 5 people

Project and Submission Requirements

  • All work must be built during the sprint — 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on May 9, 2026. Bringing in a prepped project, reusing an unpublished side project, or starting early disqualifies the submission.
  • Starter code and AI assistants (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, v0, Lovable, etc.) are allowed. Using them well is part of the craft.
  • IP remains with the team. Participants retain all ownership of what they build. By submitting, you grant localhost:nyc and sponsors the right to feature your project in post-event content (photos, videos, social, recap posts).
  • Code of conduct applies — be kind, inclusive, and build for the people you're trying to help.
